Pelicans coming for breakfast

Sigh good times always flies, now is the last day of my trip :( Had a light breakfast then went to the photo shop to look at pictures taken yesterday, I was very blur cant even recognise myself. Haha. In all I bought 4 photos, not cheap leh even after discount A$12.75 each. Hmm but still worth as its serves as memory for those activities we tried... Then it was off to whale-watching!! The waves at the open sea was a bit stronger, so I felt quite dizzy. Luckily I didnt puke & we were a lucky bunch of people for the weather was lovely that day. We managed to spot some whales quite close- squirting water / flip their tail etc. If do go again, I must remember to pop a sea-sick pill hee...
After arriving back at Brisbane, we were driven to a supermarket for some last minute shopping & then had dinner at a chinese restaurant. The food was not bad & the waiters there look cute!!! Had a look at night view of the place on our way to the airport. As usual I couldn't sleep on the plane & suffered from indigestion ;(
I find the people in Australia very friendly alway a smile on their face, a wonderful place with beautiful scenery.....

What a Lovely place

All aboard!!

Today we finally get to go the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort- 3rd largest sand island in the world. This is a lovely place with a beautiful beach & it really feel very relax to being here. The sand is very soft & fine, feels real comfortable when you step on the beach barefooted. We were bought on a "Desert Safari" tour where we get to try sand tobogganing!! You got to take a piece of board & climb up a sand dune then slide down. Strangely the sand was cold despite the hot sun....The way up was quite tedious, very tired (haha lack of exercise) The way down was fast & a little scary!! I lost a little control when I reach the end, so the result was whole face & body esp mouth full of sand. YUCKY!! I was too lazy to climb up the sand dune again thus didn't try again. Hee...
The real hightlight here was of course as the name of the place suggested to feed wild dolphins. About 10 would come near the shore around 6pm everyday & visitors can feed them under the guidance of the crew here. My friend & I each fed a baby dolphin -about 3 times with small fish. It was such a coolc& unique experience as it was the 1st time I ever get so closed to a dolphin(a wild 1 even more rare). I think dolphins are really intelligent, friendly & gentle animals, we should all do our best to reduce pollution & help protect them!!!At this resort, they dont use plastic bag as many turtles & dolphins died when they mistaken plastic bags as their favourite food - jelly fish. It is important not to litter around beaches (or any place as a matter of fact). We were given a dolphin softtoy as a souvenior. Cute!! Hope will have the chance to come here again ;)

Yesterday I went to attend the premiere of "My Wife is a Gangster3:The Lady Boss is Back" at the newly open Cathay cinema at AMK Hu. I must say a big thank you to kl forthe invitation & also to her brother for winning the tickets!! It was supposedly those star-studded movie premiere, well Shu Qi was there last night. She is really pretty. Besides her, we didnt see many other celebrities except Jason Tan from Project Superstar 1 & Ho Ailing - winner of comedian contest.
It was a grand event, there was buffet as well but I didnt eat any, hee. Well because most of the guests were invited, they were dressed quite formally. The both of us were decked in very casual t-shirt, 3-quarter pants/shorts ; so basically we felt pai sei & stress. Haha, we try to blend in as best as possible.
The movie was very funny, I really enjoyed it- laugh a lot. Its not really related to part 1 & 2 except for the title ba, since the main leads all changed I think. I feel Shu Qi has done a good job in this movie. her actions was very swift & cool.
I strongly recommend go watch this movie; a good laugh help release stress!! But dont expect too much on the plot as its nothing new.Just enjoy & laugh yourself silly ;) Next time if do get a chance to go such event again, I be sure to dress up more nicely HEE..
Anyway I bought new facial products hope will work as claim( burn a hole in pocket $128 leh).Plan to start using my zhuang shu tian shi this sat, hope to present a more brighter me soon .... MUAHahaha...

Sunshine Coast was about 2 hr drive away from Goldcoast, I got a little carsick due to this long journey & not enough sleep, so was feeling lethargic :( We went to a Ginger factory to learn how ginger were processed before being made into different products like chocolate, perfume etc. Then we went to a small town call Mount Ville, it was famous for scones but never try due to lack of appetite. The shops were small & mainly sold artwork. The scenery at this place was beautiful but I not in much of a mood to appreciate. 3rd stop was Superbee Factory where we learn how bees make honey & how beekeepers extract it. It was interesting. Now I finally understand why there are so many different flavours of honey-its because the bees use pollen from a particular tree eg Macademia tree. But I cant really tell the difference. HAHA...
At the Underwater World, I find out that fishes not only can hear, their smelling abilities are even better than dogs!! That's why they can sense of amino acids produced by mammals (humans), so if you often cant catch a fish - maybe you are too smelly to them. HAHA... The last stop was Aussie World - a place where vikings used to gather to drink beer. Nothing much to see or do & everybody was tired, so no 1 get down bus to take pictures.

Today's destination is DreamWorld- a theme park which you get to see animals too. I went on to the merry- go- round; Thunder Rapid River Raft- a ride on artificial river waves & "Run Away Reptar" - a rollercoaster. Although it was at the kids' section, to me it was still very scary!! Haha I'm glad to challenge myself yet again.
At the farm part, the kangaroos are free to roam about & you can buy a feed from there to feed them, it quite fun (bit nervous) to see them just hopping around you. Hee. We took a picture with the koala about A$15.95 for single person. It felt like hugging a soft toy with weight(5kg) & slight smell, the 1 we carry was still a baby.
As we waited for our Gala Dinner with all the groups to start, the weather was getting real cold. No kidding, I cant stop shivering & we had no indoor to go to. The dinner was buffet style & even though they use plastic sheets as curtains, it was still cold.Before dinner, we get to take pictures with sponge bob squarepants & patrick; Dora & some animals like crocodile... A lucky draw was held but our group was rarely picked but strangely my no was called & I won a mug. Yeah!! The 1st prize was supposedly a 1 night stay at Tangalooma Resort but to everyone it was something that was "bad". Hee As you got to come again then got use if not quite waste but luckily it was transferrable.Wonder what the winner do with it?? I was glad when it ended as very tired, off to bed liao.

Wild West Adventure Fall

8/6/07
Today started with a yummy buffet breakfast at the hotel, I love the scramble egg & waffles. Then we were off to Warner Brothers Movie World YEAH!! It was really fun & exciting to see all those movie/cartoon characters. We had a picture taken with WonderWoman -cool but Mr Batman had walked away liao. He was really stylo when he walked, it must be fun to pretend as the characters- must feel you are real. Hee.
First we watched the new Shrek 4D Magic Programme, it was interesting for the seats can move; feels like you are running with the Horse. HAHA... Next we went to see the Police Academy Stunt Show in which the actors showcase their humour & stunt driving skills. 1 of the audience they invite to act as a new recruit was actually their crew & got us fool for a while that he was really injured. Hee.
There were many unique stores eg Harry Potter & Chamber of Secrets or Shrek - each selling products related to respective characters.... There's just so much things I love to buy like the Donkey's ears(hairband) / Harry's wand & specs but couldnt due to budget constraint... SOB..SOB..But at the Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory, I bought about A$30 worth of chocolate yum yum ;)
I thought I wont be playing any thrill rides but I had!! 1 was Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster- an indoor roller coaster( 1st time in my life I tried). It was crazy, scary but FUN!! MuaHAha, wonder how I got the courage. You cant really see the tracks clearly, so you cant tell how it'll move. At 1 part we were lifted up by a "lift" then the vehicle moved backward leh. I couldnt stop screaming Oh my GOD & laughing. This was something I would never forget!! The nxt was Wild West Adventure Fall- surrounded by water. When the cart just reach the top- it fall backward too. That was WILD as we never expected it & half of me was wet loh. It was a fast fall so not too bad!!
Our night activity was a visit to the famous Surfers Paradise Beach where a night market will be held on Wednesdays & Fridays. Prior to that we had dinner at a Hongkong cafe, food ok but service slow....Temperature had dropped so as we walked I CANT STOP SHIVERING. I wore slippers so my feet felt kind of numb, Haha DONT try this unless you love 'cold feet' ... Mainly handmade products were sold, they were creative people, ENVY!!

Finally going to start blogging on my trip liao, got loads to crap, so here goes....
7/6/07
After a tiring 7 hr plane ride, we finally arrive in Queensland,Brisbane. The wind was chilling when we just step out of the airport but still bearable- like having outdoor aircon ;)We were driven to Eagle Street Pier for a MacDonald breakfast as time was still early for shopping, thus it was a boring start as we wasted a lot of time just doing nothing. Then it was off to Direct Factory Outlet for a short 1 hr shopping,it was a big place so still got some parts we missed out. Feeling quite unhappy over their time management loh...But manage to get a t-shirt ;)
Sirromet Winery was our next stop where we get to try about 7 type of red/white wine. I was quite surprise with myself for being able to drink all that( even if each type just a small amount given) as I never really drink before except a few sips of beer. Hee. I find all of them taste the same, haha cant tell the difference & I dont think wine or rather alcohol is nice ba.... I still prefer my coke MuaHAha..wEll we got a wine glass as a souvenior.
After that it was off to Tropical Fruit World where one can find more then 500 kind of fruits. We get to try open macademia nuts & eat fruits like custard apple, dragonfruit etc. I also tried my hands at picking a dragonfruit, it was not easy to me maybe I do it wrong but still an unique experience.The part that was real fun to me was a boat ride & on a "mini-train".
Being winter, day time was short at 5pm(Aussie time)it start to get dark already. We didnt get to go Harbourtown to shop :( as by the time we reach there the shops are going to close. So we went to Pacific Fair shopping centre- largest in that area.But it was quite boring nothing to buy as things are expensive, nothing special. I basically just fall asleep the moment I touch the pillow, haha super tired!!

Dolphins joining the party
Woohoo after waiting for a year, MAYDAY was finally back here last night for yet another wonderful & entertaining concert ;) The title this year was "JUMP the World Tour" & that's what really happened yesterday- everybody was super high & definitely fulfiled the theme of jumping , jumping..... So now my shoulder & arms are aching a little due to too much swinging of the light-stick & jumping to the beat. HAHA it felt like I had run 2.4km run, used up lots of energy. Mayday was fantastic as they sang & jump for 3 full hours but you cant tell they are worn out... Mayday ROCKZ!!!!
The beginning part was a little bored to me as the songs were not those main hits & I didnt do my 'homework' so a bit cant get into the mood. The real fun began at the 2nd half of the show with all my favourite songs, it was a great feeling to see everybody just letting loose & loving the songs. A surprise was Masha singing solo while playing the piano; that was totally different from the usual comical him.... Hee... I think he sounds good & look shuai :) Good show alway feel too short leh- 3 hr not enough lah as they still got many great songs not sang... Next time can we have a 6 hr concert??? HoHOho I dont mind going home the next morning HAHA
Cant wait for them to come back & bring the house down again!! But hope they can go to the indoor stadium next time as I dont like the seats of Max-pavilion which are on the same level. Thus the view was not so good as we were being block by those in front even though we bought the $130 tic :( Hope we can get more front seat next time!! Anyone working in Sistic ?? Please help me reserve tickets when they come again haha
The 3 of us were a little blur as we sat at the wrong seat for about half an hour then I realise, lucky the oringinal owners not here yet... Hee.. People were still coming late even though it was said concert would start at 8pm sharp... Sigh this is not a wedding dinner lah so please try come punctually loh. Went to Newton for supper to replenish our energy, very full both in my stomach & my heart....
